Ask your kiddos what they learned about elephant artists! On Friday afternoon we made Upside down ice cream sundaes! In math students practiced measuring with candy corns and making pumpkin faces using different shapes. Students tried some simple subtraction problems. They solved them by crossing out the number of objects being subtracted. Try your own at home! Thank you for gathering pictures for your child's timeline. We will create them next week and display them in the hallway. We will also compare many things from long ago and today, like games, cars, jobs, entertainment, school a nd houses. It would be a good time to call Grandma and Grandpa and ask some questions! This week the new letter sounds will be H and L. Kara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development at Metro State and completed her master's degree at Regis University last spring.
