Sarah has been at Ralston for many years. She has taught both kindergarten and the intermediate grades. She believes in helping children learn strategies for surviving and excelling in the world. Sarah received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Master’s of Art degree in Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She and her husband Gary have a daughter, Meghan and a son, Bryan. Her teaching philosophy is multidimensional. “Treat all living things with respect and dignity. Creativity can and should be taught. Understanding is constructed through experiences. And don't forget to see and laugh at the far-sides in life.”
